PenFed Credit Union has renewed its partnership with aerobatic champion Mike Goulian for the 2026 air show season. The deal maps out a seven-show tour running from May through November and brings back the Wall of Honor tribute program, which salutes military personnel and first responders.
Made public on May 22, the announcement confirms Goulian’s Extra 330SC will fly across some of the country’s most prestigious venues. The tour hits Air Dot shows in Harrisburg and Peachtree City, military installations at Pax River and NAS Oceana, plus civilian draws like the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach and the Blue Angels Homecoming in Pensacola. It’s the third straight season PenFed has backed Goulian since 2022.
The 2026 Schedule
Goulian opens with Air Dot in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (May 23–25). Next comes Pax River NAS in Maryland on June 20–21, followed by the Great State of Maine Airshow in Brunswick (July 11–12). Then he’s off to NAS Oceana in Virginia (September 19–20), the Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, California (October 2–4), and the second Air Dot show in Peachtree City, Georgia (October 31–November 1). The season wraps up at the Blue Angels Homecoming in Pensacola, Florida (November 6–7).
At each stop, PenFed will run interactive ground exhibits including an aerobatic simulator and giveaways meant to draw crowds and showcase the credit union’s ties to military communities.
The Aircraft and the Pilot
Goulian flies a German-built Extra 330SC—a machine that punches well above its 1,290-pound weight class. It delivers a 420-degree-per-second roll rate and can withstand ±12 G loads, capabilities Goulian uses to craft freestyle routines that have earned him three of aviation’s most prestigious honors: the ICAS Sword of Excellence, the Art Scholl Memorial Showmanship Award, and the Bill Barber Award for Showmanship. He’s the only American pilot to hold all three.
A former U.S. National Aerobatic Champion and Red Bull Air Race competitor, Goulian won the U.S. Unlimited Aerobatic Championship at 27 and represented the United States at the World Aerobatic Championship three times. He’s an Honorary Blue Angel and sits on the International Council of Air Shows’ standards committee, where he helped write the performer qualification manual now used worldwide.
“We are honored to continue our journey with PenFed at some of the best air shows in the United States,” Goulian said in a statement. “This partnership is a natural fit because we share the same drive for excellence and an unwavering commitment to serving our communities.”
The Wall of Honor Returns
The renewed partnership reinstates the Wall of Honor program, which first launched during the 2022 Elevation Tour at five flagship shows. The tribute honors active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders—work that aligns with the PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes, which has handed out over $55 million to military families since 2001.
“PenFed is proud to partner with Goulian Aerosports and organizations that share our commitment to excellence,” said PenFed President and CEO James Schenck.
What’s Next
The Harrisburg show kicks off in less than two weeks. Attendees will see Goulian’s signature high-energy freestyle aerobatics paired with PenFed’s community engagement work. Tickets for individual shows are available through each venue’s website. Goulian also has other 2026 appearances lined up outside the PenFed partnership, including the California International Airshow in Salinas on September 26.
