The Canadian Forces Snowbirds have modified their 2025 schedule due to aircraft maintenance requirements, affecting several planned U.S. appearances.

The team’s fleet of CT-114 Tutor jet trainers requires extended inspections following a service bulletin issued in December. Three of the team’s nine display aircraft need additional structural work before returning to flight status.

Shows in the Pacific Northwest and upper Midwest face the highest likelihood of cancellation while maintenance continues. Organizers at affected venues are scrambling to book replacement performers.

The Snowbirds celebrate their 55th anniversary this year. The Tutor aircraft date from the 1960s, making them among the oldest active demonstration team aircraft worldwide. Plans continue for eventual replacement, though no timeline has been announced.
